The Deliverance Ministry

THE NEW BEGINNING

January 2015

I am so excited to write this message, as this message is now confirmed and reaffirmed by more than one man of God after God enabled me to speak to my Church about the New Beginning in our New Year 2015 service. I truly believe Holy Spirit speaks to us in one accord. I am quite sure that many reading this message will be rejoicing in joy as you read and confess the work of God written in Isaiah chapter 43 verses 18 & 19.

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. BEHOLD, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. I. The former things or the things of old (v.18)

  1. “Do not remember – Nor consider”
  2. The past can be a restricting force in what God wants to do currently.
  1. Don’t let the past totally shape your expectations for the present and future.
  1. This includes successes as well as failures. II. Behold, I (God) will do a new thing… (v.19)
  1. ‘New thing’ – (Hebrew – Chadash) – ‘New, fresh’ – i.e. fresh bread, new song (Psalm 33:3)
  1. God is not limited in ANY way…
  1. ‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. (Jer 32:17)
  1. God does it when we’re born again: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

    C. NOW, it shall spring forth… Shall you not know it?

  1. See that God is already “springing forth” (budding forth). III. Road in the wilderness…
  1. “Road” or “way” figuratively speaks of a course of life or a mode of action – and “the wilderness” can speak of any uncultivated region or uninhabited land.
  1. God can make a way where there seems to be no way
  1. This can apply to areas of our personal life or areas of serving the Lord in ministry.
  1. To find healing, wholeness and growth in areas of life and relationships
  1. To serve in new areas as doors open to go where you’ve never gone before
  2. B. Availability to the Lord is an essential
  1. Point of need – Our Availability + God’s Ability = His Glory.
  2. “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8).
  3. Rivers in the desert… God is the source – “There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God”. (Psalms 46:4)
  4. Rivers in the desert can transform that which was dry, parched and barren into fertile land of fruitfulness.
  5. There are “desert places” in our lives… in need of a “river from God”?
  6. Marriage / family
  7. Relationship / walk with the Lord
  8. Ministry / service d. Friends friendships

Lets pray for, open to and walk in the “new thing” God is doing in our lives, as we find “roads in the wilderness” and “rivers in the desert” opening doors of service and blooming in dry places in our lives! My sincere prayer for you is to God to enable you to see the new way. And indeed God will show you the way, for He has made the path ready for you; walk with faith in Jesus mighty name.

Year 2015 is the year of new beginning a year of divine establishment. Just shout for joy and ride on the new road path provided by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Never turn back and think of your past lest you get stuck like Lots wife. Never be dejected henceforth by your past. God has given you a new beginning. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The Lord who has started to work in your life will be with you till the very end. Rejoice and fear no more. Proverbs 23:18 says, “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off”. Yes, your hope in God will never be cut off. It will relish until the end.
