JANUARY MONTH MESSAGE
CONNECTED OR DISCONNECTED?
Before you read through this message of God, ask a question to yourself – Do I have a connected or a disconnected relationship with God? Sounds a strange question to ask ourselves right! But, it is better to ask ourselves, before God could tell us that we have no relationship with HIM. Our God is the lover of continuous connected relationship between HIM and Mankind. But how is our relationship with God? We know the answer. Let the Holy Spirit of God help you to restore that relationship, while you read through His word with all reverence.
Matt 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. Do we really seek God? Or do we seek the blessings of this world? Many a time money and fame become the most sought after things and we try to bless God with them. Does God need our money and fame? Certainly not! Bible says in Matt 6:26, “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Our Heavenly Father is our provider and we need not seek to provide Him. Sometimes we grow a perspective in our heart that, ministers of God are fed due to the offerings of us. We try to bless ministries with our money and expect God to bless us irrespective what relationship we maintain with God. Many do not pray and read the word of God but expect others to uphold them in prayers while they lead their own sinful life. This is ridiculous in the eyes of God.
In the same way, it is more ridiculous for God to see the so called ministers of God who look to earn money, rather than blessing the masses by seeking after God. Let’s pray for ministers of God to earnestly seek God and share His word. Beware of deceivers of this world. Isaiah 26:9 says, “My soul yearns for You in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for You. When Your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness”. Oh what a word of God! This is the expectation of God from those who do or would like to do His ministry. Dear ministers of God, is our heart craving for His presence. Sharing Kingdom’s message with absolute presence of the almighty God will surely make a difference to the people who long for God’s word and His blessing. Ministers, do not be a curse to the masses rather, you are called to bless the nations. Woe unto the called ministers of God who continue to lead a life towards worldly blessings and fame. Wrath of God is soon to be on ministers you have backslidden. Days of Sodom and Gomorrah is soon to return on the places were God’s name is shamed.
Psalms 78:34 says, “Whenever God slew them, they would seek Him; they eagerly turned to Him again”. It’s time to seek God with all our heart. Let us renew the disconnected relationship. Whenever the people of Israel sought after God earnestly, God heard their prayers and fought the battle for them and delivered them. Are you going through a rough patch in your life? Seek God earnestly; day of deliverance is at hand. Lamentations 3:25 says, “The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him”. Just say Amen to this word and kneel down right away and seek God if you have a disconnected relationship with God. God is waiting to hear you, dear one in Christ. Our Heavenly Father is ready to restore the relationship.
Revelations 2:4, “But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first’. Remember the days we were keeping God to be the first in all things we did? Look back at the blessings and the way how God beautifully led us through the times when we were closely connected to Him. Oh what a glorious experience! Have you ever been more joyful and led a life of peace when you are away from God? Certainly not! Life with God always is amazing and no matter whom you are what your status is in this society – when you are closely connected with God, you are special one. Don’t miss out on the beautiful relationship with God. Bible says in 1 John 4:19, “We love Him, because He first loved us”. Oh what a wonderful God we serve. His love is outstanding and makes me crazy for Him. Don’t miss out to keep God as our first love, no matter whosoever matters most in this world.
When the relationship with God is built day by day in upward direction, you can only be growing in His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, grace of God and man. If you look at the greatest success stories of this world, the only common thing they all have is the love of God and the way in which they sought after God. As said in the beginning of this message, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all the blessings of above and of this world will be yours. Just be connected with the Father in Heaven all through the year 2013.
Amen
