“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth and his angles were cast out with him (Rev 12:9). As per the above verse the old serpent still deceiveth the world today. It brings confusion to the world every day. Every family is affected by the serpent. The world is heading towards destruction today. Economic fluctuation, loss in the banking system, political instability, and uncertain future, all these catastrophes are result of the old serpent. We should be aware of dangers that come our way. The old serpent is also called as satan or the devil. The old serpent can never tolerate any families to live in peace. My dear readers, we are in the last days.

In 1987, I visited a particular city and was staying in my friend’s house. In the night, I was sleeping in the open terrace. I was gazing at the beauty of the stars in the sky. Suddenly, I saw a strange sight in the sky. I saw black ghost covering the entire sky. These dreadful demons were flying in the mid-air. At that time, the Lord reminded me of the verse in the Bible, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph 6:12). According to this verse, the devils of this world will war against the people. We will face troubles from satan every day. Therefore, Jesus said, in the world ye shall have … tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Old serpent is the root cause of every sickness and problems; in short, he is the enemy of mankind.

We see in the third chapter of Genesis the serpent cunningly spoke to Eve. Serpent instigated Eve to eat the fruit forbidden by God. The serpent spoke to Eve. Today we hear in many places, serpent speaking to people. It deceived the first lady Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and made Adam to eat as well (Gen 3:6). What was the end? The first couple lost the friendship, fellowship, the presence of the almighty God forever. “He that commiteth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth from the beginning” (I John 3:8). satan instigates people to fall a prey to bad habits and ruin their lives in sin.

Snake should not come in our dream. If the serpent comes in our dream, then our health will go down, financial losses, split in the family, no sleep or disturbed sleep, no appetite, etc. We need to be careful about the evil design of the serpent. The only way we can defeat it is by fasting and praying (St Mark 9:29). When snake come in a dream, the husband and wife can never co-exist peacefully. Our home will be a hell. Today we come across many people, many places where snake appears in a dream and threaten them to build a place for them or threaten them to part with sizable amount of cash or jewels. Many pregnant ladies lose their child in the womb as snake will eat them. Once a lady told me, every time she conceives in the fifth month, serpent comes in the dream and says I will have your baby. The next day she has no alternative but to abort. Fits comes from serpent. It can be cured only by Jesus Christ.

In my 49 years of ministry, I know the evil tricks of the satan. To God be the glory. The days of the old serpent is numbered today. Fear not my reader, God knows your problem. “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and satan and bound him a thousand years” (Rev 20:2). The old serpent that destroys the world, will be cast into darkness. It’s true satan is destroying the world (I John 5:19). The old serpent will be cast out into the lake of eternal fire. The old serpent that destroyed humans will see your deliverance. “Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:4).

My dear readers let us fast and pray and receive the power of God in our lives. Mere fasting without praying is of no use. In prayer, we get closer to God and overcome the wicked satan. Mark 9:29 says, “And he said unto them, this kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting”. Jesus commenced the ministry with fasting and prayer. If there is a person in the world who is exempted from fasting and it is Jesus alone. But He set an example for us to follow. Let us not fall a prey for the evil designs set by the serpent. If we Christians are united, satan cannot conquer us. United we stand, divided we fall. Are you prepared to stand with Jesus against the wicked one or do you want yourself to be surrendered to the serpent? It is a pity, majority of the believers are in the hands of the wicked devil. The reason is simple; they don’t have the mind of Christ. The heart of Christ, longs for unity among us. John 17:21 says, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me”. Again in 1 Cor 1:13 Bible says, “Is Christ divided”? Christ is one but we are divided; divisionism is from the serpent. If you have sold yourself to the serpent, repent today. Cleanse your life from all the wicked activities of the serpent. If you have the mind of Christ and if you have the heart of Christ, no serpent can ever come near you because Jesus is with the people who really take Him to his heart.
