“Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood. Isaiah 54:4. Cheer up dear one reading this message, fear not – it’s time for glory. Isaiah 54 speaks about the glorious future that’s in store for Jerusalem. Well, if you read the full chapter of Isaiah 53 it speaks about the prophecy of the treacherous days of Jesus towards the cross. But immediately, in the next chapter, prophesy about the glorious future of Jerusalem is written. Rejoice, and claim the glorious future written for us in Isaiah 54 as our redeemer Christ Jesus has paid the price. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then, my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Amen! What else is required to rejoice? We have a God who never breaks His covenant. His blessing will never cease to exist.

1. No More Barrenness

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into a loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labour. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the Lord.

“Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.

What a promise to claim! Be ready, you are about to overflow with the blessing of the gracious Lord. Your barrenness in your spiritual, family life, workplace, and financial difficulties is ceasing as you read this promise of God. Claim the promise to be fulfilled with the joyous outpouring of God’s riches and blessings in your life.

2. No more Shame, Disgrace

“Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood. For your Creator will be your husband, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is His name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth.

For the Lord has called you back from your grief— as though you were a young wife abandoned by her husband,” says your God.

Is your old life haunting you? Feel low before society? Feeling ashamed for the things you did in the past? Lord says I am your Redeemer. I have paid the price for your fall in the cross of Calvary. Cheer up, for the Lord Himself, has called you by your name. His loving comfort is redeeming your downhill life. Start claiming the promise of our Saviour Lord Jesus Christ. God says, “FEAR NOT”, you will no longer live in shame! Our Creator Himself has forgiven us, so why should we worry about the judgemental world? Stand before the people who said, you are a disgrace, for you are about to be lifted in the same place where you were shamed. Your mourning is turning into dancing.

3. No more Abandonment

“For a moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion, I will take you back. In a burst of anger, I turned my face away for a little while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer. There are many a time, our way of life has led to a big distance between God and us. Felt that God was far away, and His anger was upon us. Nothing seems to be going right! There is a sense of emptiness. Just imagine you always a have bunch of friends around you all through your life and suddenly you made a mistake, and everyone abandoned you, it might be painful. How much more, it pains when God abandons us – it’s a terrible feeling. 

But worry no more, God says – I will take you back! God’s anger is only for a short period (a period given to us to realize our mistakes and surrender to God). But His love is everlasting! He is our compassionate loving God.

As written in the ninth verse, “Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you”. What a gracious God we serve. Oh, just claim the promise. Stay true to the glorious life he has given to you now. Enjoy His everlasting forgiveness.

4. The Promise

But in that coming day, no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Claim the promise wholeheartedly, utter the word in faith that no weapon turned against me will succeed in Jesus’ name!

• Every tongue that rises against me, will be silenced in Jesus’ name.
• Every sickness in my body vanishes in Jesus’ name.
• Every financial burden for me and my family members is removed, and God’s riches are filling my house in Jesus’ name.
• Every source of depression vanishes in Jesus’ name.
• Every spiritual dullness is gone, and Holy Spirit Fire is filling me in Jesus’ name.
• Every demonic oppression in my family is bounded in the name of Jesus.
• All the works of my hand will prosper in Jesus’ name.

Just start claiming the promises of God and obtain the deliverance in Jesus’ name.

What a joy to enjoy God’s promise. There is zero chance of failure when the word is spoken by God. Luke 1:37 says, “For the word of God will never fail”. Let our Triune God be in our life always. Let not our act grieve the Holy Spirit. For by His eternal grace, we are saved and enjoying the glorious benefits; can we live a life that is worthy of His gift?

Isaiah 53: 10 says, “But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush Him and cause Him grief. Yet when His life is made an offering for sin, He will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in His hands.

Jesus was crushed for our sins. He made Himself an offering for our sins. He came out victorious. He is the Heavenly King! Are we ready to be His descendants in His Glorious kingdom? For we ought to claim the promised place in His kingdom.
