Ever since the beginning of this year 2022, we have come across many sad incidents. Billions of people are undergoing psychological problems. In this present scenario, one may wonder, how will the New Year 2023? We are eagerly expecting the New Year. 

        “Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world” (Acts 15:18). Only the almighty God knows, what the year 2023 will be!! Let us tarry with fear in prayer for the year 2023!!

    1. Knowledge will Increase: “But thou, O Daniel, Shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and Knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4). We are in the last days.  Men intellectual knowledge will operate very past. Thousands of new discoveries will come to pass. Daniel 12:4 will be fulfilled in this year. Ever Since the creation, new inventions of men will confuse the society which will lead us to spiritual down fall. 

     2. The Faith of many will be shattered: “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (2 Thes 2:3). We are heading towards the last days of the world. Crore’s and crore’s of people who are in the Lord’s faith will be shaken and they will backslide. “For there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ”(Jude 1:4). False teachings, dances and emotional actions have entered into most of the churches in the world today. The spirit of deception is ruining the churches today. It is sad to say that crores and crores of believers are not aware their backsliding stage. Satan has subtly entered into the church. The word of God will be fulfilled. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of” ( 1 Tim 4:1). 

      3.   Events happened during the days Noah will be repeated: “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son man be” (Mathew 24:37). During the days of Noah, women were misused, and adultery went to the heights. Today, we find that every tender girl is misused. Homosexuals, prostitutions are at tremendous increase today. Secret sins are present everywhere. Billions of unmarried ladies are pregnant today. God said to Noah “My Spirit shall not always strive with man….” (Gen 6:3). Anger of the Lord is at a Zenith point. As a result of this, mass destruction will strike the world. God is love. At the same time, God is a consuming fire. We are going to see much more destruction than in the days of Noah.

      4. Tribulation Period: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). There are many kinds of tribulation in the world. Tribulation in the form of Incurable diseases, family problems and un-employment problems likewise several kinds of problem. Crores and crores of people are there without jobs today. This is a heart-breaking situation. Everywhere we find this sad state of affairs. As a result of this, people are mentally tormented and commit suicide. “The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy” (Prov 14:10). Can anyone run a family without a job? Global economic downfall will reach the peak. When we hear about the terrible situations in the above, let us look to the comforting words of Jesus Christ. “I have conquered the world” (John 16:33). No job in the world is permanent today. Only God can protect us. 

              Pestilences, earthquakes, volcano’s, famine will be spread around the world. The global economy will be in the hands of Anti-Christ. Let us enter into the New Year 2023 with the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us be like the wise virgins and prepare ourselves to meet the Heavenly bride groom Jesus Christ in Heaven. Amen!!
