The Deliverance Ministry

HAPPY EASTER

March 2022

“He is not here; for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay”.(Mt 28:6, Mk 16:6,Luke 24:6).

JESUS CHRIST rose from the dead just as he foretold His resurrection. Billions of people have lived in this world and died. But the only open grave in the whole world is that of the Lord JESUS CHRIST. There are a number of samadhis for the national Leaders of various countries, just not one open grave; it is History that the grave of JESUS has been open for nearly 2000 years. Allelulia! Though Lazarus came out of his grave(John 11:44) he went back to the grave after some years. “I am he that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive for evermore. Amen and have the keys of hell and of death.” (Rev 1:18).

Today the birth of JESUS is celebrated with pomp and gaiety but it is sad that His RESURRECTION OFTEN GOES UNNOTICED. The apostle Peter who delivered the first sermon after JESUS CHRIST rose up and just after Pentecost explained the resurrection of JESUS (Acts 2:32). The resurrection of JESUS was the main theme of the Apostle’s preaching. Peter declared the resurrection in the JEWISH Synagogue after healing the lame (Acts 3:15) and Peter filled with the Holy Ghost proclaimed the resurrection to the JEWISH council (Acts 4:10). He also challenged the JEWS in the temple and explained the Lord’s resurrection. “The God of our father raised up JESUS whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.” (Acts 5:30) Peter brings out the resurrection in the cottage prayer meeting held at Cornelius residence (Acts 10:40) and anywhere and everywhere Peter preached it contained the Lord’s resurrection. Yes any message minus resurrection loses the power of God and all the easter message of the resurrection has to be brought out anywhere and everywhere.

St. Paul preached in the synagogue at Antioch about the resurrection (Acts 13:29-33) and also preached unto the Philosophers at Athens about JESUS and His resurrection (Acts 17:18) His message from the Mar’s Hill finished with the resurrection of JESUS (Acts 17:32). Yes, this message brought people to JESUS. Paul explained the resurrection before King Agrippa to the extent of touching his soul (Acts 26:23-28). Thus, Pauls message was always centered on the resurrection, the crowd may be drawn towards the preacher, but if the preacher were to bring out the Glorious resurrection of our Lord then the people will be drawn to JESUS CHRIST. May we also follow Apostle’s way of preaching?

“Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the death, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead then is Christ not raised and if Christ be not raised. Then is our preaching vain and your faith is also vain. Yes and we are found false witnesses of God because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ whom he raised not up, if so be that dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, and then is not Christ rose. And if Christ be not raised your faith in vain. Ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ. We are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ rose from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by men came death by man came also the resurrection of the death. For as in Adam all die. Even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order; Christ the first fruits; afterwards they that are Christ at His coming”. (1 cor 15:12-23).

Many will argue against the resurrection of Christ. But let us look to JESUS CHRIST who said, “I am the resurrection and the life”. (John 11:25). “Our mortal bodies will be buried after death but will be raised in glory” (1 cori 15:44) Alleluia.

Because JESUS lives, we can face tomorrow and so let us wish each other a HAPPY EASTER.
