PSAMLS 25:4-5 SHEW ME THY WAYS, O LORD TEACH ME THY PATHS, LEAD ME IN THY TRUTH, AND TEACH ME. King David cries in the above verse asking God to show him His ways. In Ps 119:33 he says “Teach me O Lord the way of thy statues and I shall keep it unto the end”. In the same way the great man of God Moses cries in “If I have found grace in thy sight show me now thy way. Even today every child of God cries asking God to show him His ways and to teach him His paths. Every real child of God longs to have a close walk with God. Unless God shows us His ways and teaches us His truth we can never live a victorious life. Dear child of God, are you crying like these dear ones for Gods ways and His paths. Certainly He will fill your longing soul with His righteousness. Jesus Christ said in Mat 5:6 “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled”. Let us see How the good Lord reveals His ways and teaches His truth to those who long for them.

1. THROUGH GOD’S WORD:- Ps 119:105 says “thy word is a lamp unto feet and a light unto my path”. Yes God’s word shows us light and light reveals God’s ways to us. In order to understand God’s ways and His will for us, we must read the bible every day. The Holy Spirit will quicken the words that we have read and will guide us accordingly. One day while I was waiting at the Lord’s feet asking Him to protect me from the sins and temptations that assail me every day, ‘the Holy Spirit quickened the scripture verse found in 1 John 3:9 “Whosoever is born of God both not commit sin: for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God”. I have read this scripture verse several times in the past, but never has it been so real to me as on that day. Yes there is great power in the word “CANNOT SIN” and this gave me so much of consolation and comfort. Dearly beloved, are you being tossed and tempted by the daily cares of this life. God’s ways and His word will come to you with all power and force and break the bondage and deliver you, if you would read the Bible every day.

2. THROUGH HIS SERVANTS: Malachi 2:7 says that priest’s lips are filled with knowledge and we should seek the law at his mouth- Yes, God reveals His ways and His paths through His dear servants who have a close walk with Him. The great man of God Benny Hinn once attended the revival meetings conducted by the precious servant of God Kathryn Kuhlman, while he sat there listening to her, she suddenly wept and cried “Please do not grieve the Holy Spirit He is all that I Have” She sobbed and sobbed for 2 minutes” Please do not hurt Him whom I love”. These words broke the heart of Rev Benny Hinn. He wept. “I need Him, I need Him”, and God filled him with His Holy Spirit and power and he became a mighty man of God. Yes, God reveals His ways through His servants. We must never fail to seek counsel and guidance from them. When we humble ourselves and listen to them God will fill us with His grace and strengthen us.

3. THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT: In John 14:26 the blessed Lord Jesus Christ said that the comforter, the Holy Ghost shall teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance. The early church walked by the counsel and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Men of God were led by the spirit of God. Even today, Holy Spirit who revealed God’s ways and plans to the early church will also guide us. In Acts 10th chapter we see that Peter who thought that salvation belonged only to the Jews was admonished by the Holy Spirit that he should take the Gospel even to the Gentiles and this resulted in the Salvation of Cornelius’s family. When the Holy Spirit reveals God’s ways to us we find that there is great deliverance to one and all. How sweet is this precious spirit? We must be filled with the Holy Spirit every day in order to know God’s ways. That’s why Apostle John wrote in 1 John 2:27 that the anointing which we have received of Jesus Christ will abide in us always and teaches us all things. How wonderful is this anointing and power? Yes the Lord Jesus Christ who gives us this anointing is sweet and lovely. So many times we cry to God to show us His ways so that we can be kept from mistakes and errors. Dear reader if you are crying in a similar manner, the Lord Jesus Christ would surely reveal His ways and teach you His paths and would bring victory and deliverance to you. He says in Ps 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way in which thou shalt go, I will guide thee with mine eyes.” So don’t get disheartened, He will fill your longing soul with His truth.
