It’s a customary to wish each other a Happy New Year. We feel happy when somebody wishes us see. Has the New Year been a happy one? I am sure everybody knows what 2013 has been. Let us what 2014 is going to be. I Am sure we are all anxious to know what 2014 is in store for us. The God who created the Heaven and the Earth knows what will happen every day till the end of this world. Because HE has promised us, “…lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mat 28:20). The promise of Jesus is, He is with you. Every day, He is with you. The Bible says, God knows everything that is going to happen. There is nothing that is going to happen, is not known unto Him. Acts 15:18, says “Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world”. Every single event in the world is pre-destined. All the happenings in the world are known unto God. The daily newspapers, television flashes the news everyday but everything is known unto God before the foundation of the world. Remember we have a great God in Heaven. Jesus promised that every hair in your head is numbered; satan doesn’t know what will happen tomorrow; satan doesn’t know what will happen in the pilgrim centre’s tomorrow. But God’s eyes know everything. The Almighty and Omnipotent God, who is seated in the Holy of Holies, encircled by millions of angels praising Him; who says, I am God and I live for ever, he knows what is going to happen. For God’s children the best is yet to come. All our tears and prayers will not go in vain. Shall we briefly see what the New Year is in store for us?

        THE YEAR OF PROSPERITY: I Chronicles 22:16 say, “Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the Lord be with thee”. God has promised us prosperous things. All that we need is to keep on doing our work. And the precious supply from Heaven will keep coming to us. We will never lack anything in this world. God has seen the cry of the millions of believers suffering under poverty. The yoke of poverty will be removed. He will make a way for us in the wilderness. Your need is, God’s need. Philippians 4:19 say, “But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in gory by Christ Jesus”. Faithful is He who has called us. He will supply all your financial requirements. Your debt will be wiped out by the Almighty power of the Lord Jesus Christ. His promise is true. He will not forget His own. The God, who has paid the price of sin debt, will pay your financial debt also. Il Corinthians 8:9says “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich”. My dear believers, claim the promise, you will see the literal fulfilment ahead of you.

        THE YEAR OF RECOVERY: And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away I Samuel 30:18. Whatever we have lost, we will recover. Are you broken because you have lost your land, your house, and your valuables? Cheer up, the God of David is our God. There are times you have moaned enough of the properties you once owned. Now you have lost everything; remember David cried when he lost everything; he cried till he had no strength to cry. The strength of God enabled him to get back everything. Every court case will come to a halt. Justice will be achieved. The Bible says, whatever Job lost, he got back in double measure. What a joy for Job to receive everything in double measure (Job 42:12). They that looked up on His face will shine. After 70 AD, the Israelites were uprooted from the land. They wandered throughout the world. In 1948, the State of Israel for formed. They recover all their lands in 1967. The God of Israel is our God. God will fight the battle for you till everything is restored back to you. Our great God will not be silent. THE YEAR OF EVANGELISM: The gospel will be preached everywhere in this world. The world will hear the name Jesus over and over again. Where the Gospel has not reached, it will reach this year. Every barrier will be broken. The gospel will be spread, thus paving the way for the coming of the great King of Kings. Matthew 24:14 (Mark 13:10) say, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”. The good news of the gospel will spread far and wide. As the good news spreads, the day is not very far off, where no one in the world can say I have not heard the name Jesus. What a joy and a privilege that we are part of the great evangelism. If you have not done anything for Jesus, do it today.

        YEAR OF GOD’S POWER: Mighty miracles will take place around the world. When you read Acts 8:6, 7 “And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed”. The Samaritan revival will take place everywhere in the globe. The name of the Lord will be honoured and glorified. Outstanding miracles, will rock the gates of hell. Black magic’s will be crushed by the power of God. Millions of Philip will be raised for this great task. Acts 19:11 says, “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul”. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). God who used Philip and Paul will use you for His glory. What a mighty God we serve. Give yourself for His glory. Allow the power of God to flow through you.

        THE YEAR OF SATANIC ACTIVITY: Revelations 12:12 say, “… having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time”. As the coming of the Lord is extremely near satanic activity will be at an all-time increase. Huge demonic figures will be visibly seen by many. The dreaded fear will fall up on the people. Even the elect will be deceived. These demonic creatures will cause havoc among the people. As a result of which disaster and turmoil will be common everywhere. This is the time; we have to come closer to God for His protection. When I saw the happenings to come, it grieved my heart very much. The untold miseries that people are going to suffer under the evil one will be very great. Revelation 12:9 says, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”. The havoc created by the wicked one will be very disastrous. The economy will be at stake. This is the time, when God’s people who are empowered by the gift of the discernment of the spirit will be used for His glory. People with this precious gift will be sought after by every people.

        My dear readers, as you enter in to New Year 2014 let us come closer to Jesus. Don’t shun religious fervour. Every time you are free spend time on prayer and Bible meditation. More in prayer will energise you to have a smooth sailing in the year 2014. At any cost, don’t go away from Jesus. Let us not sell ourselves to the devil as Judas Iscariot (Luke 22:3). My dear brothers and sisters, do you have the joy of salvation? Are you sure your sins are forgiven? Is you name written in the book of life? If you have any doubt, now kneel down and confess your sins to Jesus. Accept Him as your personal Saviour. Say no to the sinful pleasure. God Bless you!
