The Deliverance Ministry

SEPTEMBER 2013

SEPTEMBER MONTH MESSAGE

ARE YOU A SERVANT OF GOD

We as the servants of God serve under only one Master who is in Heaven. We all have the same Holy Bible. God hath filled us all with the Holy Spirit that was upon JESUS CHRIST. There are number of opportunities to serve God in various ways among different races in the world. Our reward is in Heaven. Let us not crave for position, popularity and prestige in this world. But think what will be our place in Heaven. In the last days as various types of sickness are increasing day by day, many sicknesses have no medical cure. Where will these forsaken patients go? Certainly people will come to a servant of God, the representative of God in this world today. Today, people go to servants of God. The reason being the servants of God are respected person in society. Dear servants of God, the soldiers in Lords Army, are called to publish the good news of the glorious gospel; how beautiful are your feet on the mountain. Today people are searching for the servants of God.

In the last days let us see from the scripture, how a servant of God should be with other servants of God.

DOCTRINAL WARFARE: “But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another” (Gal 5:15). We have several places to go for Gospel work but, instead we keep fighting each other on doctrinal issues. When we fight with each other, we lose our anointing and are not aware of our backslidden life. It is sad to spend time in boasting about our ministry and attacking every other ministry thereby we walk into devil’s trap. When we bite each other, we will be devoured shortly. Saul the King of Israel was filled with the Holy Spirit. David was also a spirit filled man. King Saul began to hate David every day. King Saul lost the anointing given by God and had a tragic death. Beware; let us not be like Saul in devouring fellow believers. Let the sad end of King Saul be a warning to every servant of God. Saul hated David, but David loved Saul and greeted with reverence when he saw Saul at a distance. Even when people hate us, let us humble like David. Let us not bite each other and perish in the way.

SERVANTS OF GOD SHOULD NOT FIGHT: “And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient” (II Tim 2:24). It is not good for servants of God to involve in strife. No servant of God should work against any ministry or any servant of God. The devil is our enemy, not our fellow servants of God. Let us not build Churches near each other. Let us avoid having conventions or meetings on the same day. Let us use our ability and the gifts given by God in winning souls for His kingdom. Our ministry should glorify God and put the devil to shame always. Through our hard labour, we must win souls every day and make Heaven rejoice about our ministry (Luke 15:7, 10). Let us be helpful to other servants of God.

FREE FROM COMPETITIONS: “Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation” (Rom 15:20). Lakhs of villages in India are without a Church. In many places, people have not heard the name of JESUS. How nice, it would be if the servants of God go and minister there. St. Paul, never built his ministry on another servant of God foundation. Instead Paul went about preaching where the Gospel had not ben preached. Let not our ministries hinder another servant of God’s work. David Livingston left his Country and worked among the cannibals in Africa for JESUS. He won thousands of souls in Africa and his name is remembered even today. Servants of God Ragland, Amy Carmichael, Paton, Walsh, Caldwell, Pope, Thomas Walker, the first Indian Bishop Azariah and many servants of God worked hard in the last two centuries in Tamil Nadu. Their works stand as a monument, even today. The above servants of God had their own ministry in different places without creating problems for other servants of God. Once disciples were debating among themselves as to who would be the greatest. These words wounded JESUS, who was very much annoyed with their speech. JESUS Christ never liked this kind of talk. Today the devil makes the servant of God to fight with another servant of God. If the servant of God falls deep in to the devil’s trap it will be hard for him to recover. Let us shun competition and fulfil the visions that God has given us.

Finally, JESUS CHRIST desires the servant of God to fulfil his prayer. “That they all may be one; as thou, Father are in me, and I in thee, that they also be one in us: That the world may believe that thou has sent me” (St. John 17:21). My dear servants of God let us not be stumbling block for the fulfilment of the Lord JESUS CHRIST prayer. Instead we will be instruments in fulfilling His task before us. Are you a servant of God?
