Genesis 5:1, “When God created man, He made him in the likeness of God”. Oh what a joy when I look like my dad and be like my dad when I’m grown up! This is the dream of every kid while the journey of life begins in this world. Same will be the desire of a dad. When a worldly dad and child dream this beautiful relationship, how much more will our Heavenly Dad desire about our relationship with Him? God created man to have communion with him but satan first destroyed this lovely relationship by deceiving Eve in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3). But our Father God through His unfailing love has always tried to rebuild our relationship with Him, a heart of a loving father. Amplified version of John 3:16, “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life”.

Greatly Loved: I John 3:1, “See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are!” As the word says, it’s an incredibly outstanding quality of our Father’s love which made Him to call us, His child. Oh shout a Halleluiah as you read this magazine, you’re God’s own child!

Do you realise this as you walk in this world? Many a time we feel God is a non relative person, who shows love towards us; but the fact is, it’s His breath that has given us life. So as to say, He’s is our creator, our Parent – closest relative of us! Bible says, “Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being” – Genesis 2:7. Just think you could’ve been sand in the ground which people stamp or clay for an ornament! But with His great love God breathed His life to us and more admirably He created us in His own image. Next time when you look at the mirror, just say hey I look like my Heavenly daddy! Don’t worry if worldly people say you don’t look smart, tell them I’m God’s kid and I look like Him and I don’t care of your saying. Keep your head up and cheer up!

Above all these, it’s the characteristic of our Heavenly God which should reflect in our lives. If we don’t possess the characteristics of our Lord then we spoil the name of the Lord and make satan laugh at us and God! So what is the characteristic that we need to possess? It’s the fruit of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22, 23 “But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]”. Do we possess it? It’s sad that many of us still don’t care about wearing the characteristics of our Lord, like we show interest in wearing the latest trend dress or possessing the latest product in market! How sad is the situation of Christians? Next time you walk out of your house, make sure you don’t walk as a normal person of this world but as a Blessed Child of God wearing the ornament of God. You are sure to see a difference in your life.

Dearly Prized: God so loved us that, He gave His only begotten Son for us as a dearly beloved prize (sacrifice) to mankind to attain eternal life. There is no one who can sacrifice his own kid to restore mankind! But our Heavenly Father showed His divine love and care that He has on His kids to restore the lost relationship with Him (caused in the Garden of Eden). Genesis 3:3 says, “Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die”. So when God created man, He didn’t purpose him to die but to have eternal life for Him! But man due to the sinful attributes injected by satan on him has gained death! Beauty of God’s love on His kids is, He doesn’t want His kids to fall prey to satan deceptive works rather God’s wants everyone of His kids to come to His Heavenly House. What a perceiving Father God we have? Worldly parents throw of their kids due to poverty, hatred, misunderstanding and so on but our Heavenly Father makes all-out effort to bring back His kid to the heart of Heavenly Kingdom. He wants us with Him as a dearly beloved kid in His arms in Heaven. Oh what a Joy for God to see His kids come to Fathers House (Heaven)!

Believe in Eternal Life: John 4:14 say, “But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life”. Christian life is all about achieving this eternal life! Do you believe in eternal Heaven and Hell, and then you’re a Christian? There are many cult groups which preach there is no hell with their honey coated prosperity message. Beware of these cults who defy the name of our God. Woe unto them who preach false doctrines. Problem here is many don’t know what they preach! Reading many books written by mortal man and relating the contents to verses in Bible without any sense and creating new doctrines of selfish ambitions is prevailing in many churches nowadays. Beware of the church you are part of, do they lead you in the message of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit? If not I warn you, you’re going to the church led by Lucifer (satan) and not of God. If you continue to be a part of the church, I can assure you – your name will not be in the Book of Life! It means you have no chance of eternal life. Are you born to disgrace God by following the deceiving words of satan or goanna drink the eternal water of God which will definitely lead us to Heavenly life with Him?

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall see Heavenly Fathers glory in your life! Our Heavenly Father’s love is everlasting, cling on to His evergreen love. Share this love to everyone with whom you converse and make a difference in their life too!
